Welcome to all our young reporters!

The Easter holidays will see an exciting new project start at the Diamonds Study Centre as 12 young learners from Rushden and Kettering will be trained in the Supporter to Reporter programme (S2R). 

Supporter to Reporter is a new way for young people to become sports reporters, get behind the scenes at local and national sports events and get involved in creating a new youth sports reporting channel.

Keep checking out this webpage for the latest news about the project and to stay informed of the latest sporting events across the country that we will need our reporters to attend! 

We will also be setting our young reporters research questions about events going on around the County and asking you to upload your blogs on to the  Radiowaves Northampton website to keep people informed of the sporting events that are taking place in the local area.

15/04/09 Just a quick reminder to those 5 students who are reporting on the Leyotn Orient V Northampton Town match this Saturday 18th April, 2009 that we will be meeting at Northampton train station at 10.30am on Saturday morning and you need to remember to arrange to be collected from Northampton train station at 8.15pm on Saturday night.  Please click on the link below for the full itinerary.

10/04/09 Congratulations to all our young learners for all their hard work over the last 3 days!  The standard of work that has been produced is excellent.  We hope that you are looking forward to reporting on the Diamonds V Kettering match this Saturday 11th April and will see you all outside the Diamonds Reception at 1pm.  You will need to arrange to be collected from the Study Centre car park at 7pm.
